luigi bros Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 The problem with them healing would be they'd have highish strength because they're fighter and units with high strength hsve low magic and units with high magic have low strength so they'd be either: Great fighters;horrible healers Great healers; horrible fighters Adverage fighters;adverage healers So they'd never get good at anything. dondon151 Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) I pointed out elsewhere that a magic stat isn't required to be a half-decent staff user. Magic's more important in later games as ranged staves don't have infinite range, but there's still stuff like Torch, Unlock, Restore, Hammerne, Barrier, and Recover (and maybe Warp) that work equally well with 0 magic as they do with 30 magic. I would rather Mist switch her strength and magic growths and caps so that she could be a decent offensive unit and staff user instead of a terrible offensive unit and above average staff user.
