luigi bros
Here's why: Eliwood's growths are: HP:80 Strength:45 Skill:50 Speed:40 Luck:45 Defense:30 Resistance:35 Roy's growths are: HP:80 Strength:40 Skill:50 Speed:40 Luck:60 Defense:25 Resistance:30 Using the FE4 inheritance of growth rates style Eliwood would pass on all of his growths so Roy woulld get these growths from his mother: HP:0 Strength: -5 Skill:0 Speed:0 Luck:15 Defence:-5 Resistance:-5 So doubleing that she'd have: HP:0 Strength:-10 Skill:0 Speed:0 Luck:30 Defemse:-10 Resistance:-10 That is awful. She's only got OK luck the rest is terrible.

Kintenbo
Soooo, does that mean his mother is some freaky time warp version of Jeigan? Roy's growths aren't even that dreadful....
Fia
There is some miscalculations here, since FE6 was released before FE7 after all. I'll give you the correct Roy's growths here! HP 122.50% - STR 47.50 % - SKL 52.50% - SPD 75% - LCK 85% - DEF 45% - RES 70% Isn't he wonderful? ^_^
TheEnd
Proof that Eliwood actually had an A support with Hector and married a generic villager.

_____
:/ what? In FE4, when the parents have children, the children's growths are the Mother's Growths + half of the Father's growths. So, they're using that logic for other games.
Just call me AL
Only one problem, we don't know much about the characters's magic growths in the GBA games, since they share the same stat slot. So how is magic decided if two melee units are considered in the calculations? Edited January 29, 2009 by Little Al
Starwolf_UK
This is getting boring. Have we has a Yuria's father is a horrible unit yet? Well Alvis is the odd one out. If we remember, he is the father that is a horrible unit while the rest are mothers :P
Steven Tyler
Roy's mother was Ninian. Can't blame him for having a mother who wasn't a fighter.
Drayano
Roy's mother is Paris Hilton This explains the growths.
