The macro and micro seemed to have improved (or at least, it didn't devolve), and there was much more variety between civilizations. Plus, deck building and shipments made me totally love it. It improved on just about every aspect from the first one, and the third, at least I think, went too far away from the others. The Franks are amazing in that game. Just try using fully upgraded Paladins with them and you'll see what I mean. But I hate those fools who spam Cataphracts...........
