Destiny Hero Posted February 8, 2009 Share Posted February 8, 2009 What is up with old people and Jimmy Buffet? Here's the newest situation: My mom tells everyone to be off the computers at 10 AM. Tickets to Jimmy Buffet are going on sale on Ticketmaster at that time, so she didn't want anyone lagging the connection. She finally got on and started freaking out because the site was so slow and laggy. After 20 minutes, she still couldn't find any tickets. She pretty much panicked and hoped she wouldn't get called in too work. Then, the computer crashed, and she was really pissed off. I got her to reboot the computer and try again. Ten minutes of searching later, she still didn't have the tickets, so I told her to let me in and I searched for some. I found the tickets she wanted on my first try. It's ridiculous, though, because each ticket was 136 dollars, and she got two, and the rest of the 130 dollar total was a bunch of ridiculous fees. It was 8 dollars for shipping, and 18 dollars extra for each ticket for God knows why. So now I'm the favorite because my brothers are Pissy Emo and Sicky, and I guess I'm Tickety.
