Sucker Punch is a priority attack. Thus, a slower Pokemon using Sucker Punch will outspeed a faster Pokemon that isn't using Sucker Punch. Needs to brush up on his Pokemon. Needs to brush up on his Pokemon. I know that. However, supposing that the opponent is faster than the Sucker Punch user and uses a priority move (or in Gen 5, ExtremeSpeed since it's in a higher priority bracket), Sucker Punch won't work.
