It isn't the same thing. Laguz can only fight part of the time. And as far as RD's concerned, beorc improve MUCH faster and much more easily than laguz do. Is not a metal king slime. He doesn't. But he does put a good example on how a character can be great and have 1-range. You know, since we're assuming a 32 Str Ulki that actually 1RKOs, which is pretty useful, and it's not like you're grassing him every single turn, and Canto just helps him get out of 2-range enemies. Knows that I consider heavy and inaccurate tomes on a class that has low speed to be... not a bright idea, to say the least.
