The American rebellion failed so they kept their North American territories. Then the Napoleonic wars came, France conquered Europe and the Royal Family escaped to North America. From then on they conquered the rest of the Americas and became the Holy Empire of Britannia. Fast forward to the future where they launch an invasion of Japan and the series starts from there... Oh yeah, and giant robots are involved. Knows what originally got me interested in Code Geass is the alternate timeline. I like Alternate History stories.
