Well, I suppose it could be worse. Since at least when I refuse for a prolonged time I get teased with stuff like, "Well, with that beard you truly look like an engineer," and a favorite of my dad is saying that with it I support "Las Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara" (a soccer team with a goat as mascot)... Sometimes I feel the teasing is their actual way of telling me to shave instead of their "It's been long enough, why don't you shave already?". Heh...
