And curious, why not? Soon after I enter there is this way to go down, but once I'm down there I get lost and there are two ways to go up. I can't figure out which is which. Before I knew that though, I always thought the game exuded so much lore just because the world is really well-made. Like I could feel a story behind every single thing. It's the final shaft, to the far right, that you have to ascend. If you go all the other possible ways, you'll notice they're dead ends.
