Icon of Sin Posted October 27, 2010 Share Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) Once I finally got out of town, the prof decided it was time for us to know how to catch Pokémon. To be fair it did look easy. I mean you just had to toss your balls around. Every dude knows how to do that since his early childhood. Following this, TE felt in need of getting some exercise. After charging a single chipmunk he learned to breathe sparks at enemies. Following the cooking of many puppies and quite a few more chipmunks, TE also learned use his sense of smell to make his attacks strike true all the time. After a small frenzy where TE let his fiery temper get the best of him, it was time to get some new friends. First, an annoyingly cute (emphasis on annoying, since it doesn't ever want to sleep), yet timid male puppy I named Roxas. Following this, I lobbed another ball, this time at a calm male chipmunk I named Ninji. After noticing a river, I somehow had the urge of throwing the puppy's ball in it, but resisted. It might come in handy later as a slave perhaps. I also get a Potion from a nice NPC. I would've prefered experience and money, but you'll prove to be useful somehow. After meeting our two buddies at the edge of Karakusa, I am directed at the Pokécenter where I must heal my pets. Following this, I learned how to use a PC for other things than video games and porn and then I bought 5 more balls. Leaving the Pokécenter, I come across my mate Cheren, who is standing in front of a bunch of guys in funny suits with funnier hats. After a long and boring speech about Team Plasma, some dude who introduces himself as N dares to pick up a fight with me. Sending his bad tempered pussy was a bad choice, but only making it growl at TE was worse, who burned it with two small sparks. After getting humiliated, N leaves and I'm free to explore town. A lucky encounter with someone in a house grants me a new ball. Leaving town, I get a phone call from mom, only to be surprised by her from behind. She was just here to give me new shoes. That's great, because I feel like I'm going to need a new pair for this long adventure. Then I come across a potion in patch of grass. I decide to settle my camp here for the night. One of the new girls from my class stepped up to her a few weeks ago and bluntly asked her if we were together :/ Excellent. That would be perfect.
