And BR fansubs usually use those horrible translations as bases for their own. Awful groups. So much of them. Most French groups (99%) are translating from English fansubs as well. More than half of them are illiterate teenagers that are making roughly 10 spelling errors / sentence and aren't even good with the English language.. I said it before, and will say it again: most fan translators are below my level. They frequently translate with passion alone, without much proper knowledge. But now that I think about it, fansubs seem to suffer from a particular shortage of decent translators. A drawer's job is usually to be drawn out and pushed back in, to hold in various materials ranging from clothing to very personal objects and not to collapse. Sometimes, it might also be used as a weapon, but it's not very practical so that's usually not the job it has. Drawers are fine, upstanding youths of our great community. While their jobs are, for us, not exactly entertaining, but they accept it nonetheless, and they pretend that they enjoy it as well. We could all stand to learn a thing or two from drawers.
