Altera the Hun Posted June 15, 2011 Share Posted June 15, 2011 Wonderful. Here's some tips to get you started: 1. Skills > Adaptivity (terrain ratings) > raising stats. SP Regen is practically a must unless you want to be conservative on one of the biggest aspects of the game. 2. In this game, having 2-3 maxed M90 Machineguns is a good idea. Mech upgrades should generally be geared towards their strengths (the stats where you can pump the least points to). "Real type" robots should get Mobility (affects evasion). "Super Type" robots should get HP and Armor as they're the tanks that don't really have mobility. The only exception to this is Masaki's Cybuster. Gespensts are your weakest units and you'll get enough mechs later so that you don't need to place anyone in them. 3. Finally, when Barriers come into play, you'll definitely want to use Energy Taker/Energy Drain missiles to nuke the enemy's EN to 0. Once that happens, give it your all.
