Yeah, I felt this way too. I only played one route (but I liked it). It feels too much like one of my moonland cartoons. I need to actually get into Cthulhu mythos from the ground floor at some point. I've really enjoyed a lot of derived/inspired works, like Arkham Horror, Saya no Uta, etc. But I have yet to read anything actually Lovecraft. I see, I see. SMT tends to do their own spin and variation on things but I really enjoyed... whatever the hell I just fought was. [spoiler=end]I went with Ronaldo and got Polaris to give humanity empathy. I don't know if it's related to the fact that the D&D campaign I'm playing is currently in a similar "new generation" phase That's funny, that girl looks alot like Rackesis from FE4 and also her head part looks alot like Nanna's and Priscilla's and the mask kinda resemble's to the Masked Marth's mask in the Awakening.
