In mythology, Lamia is the name of a specific, singular demon, whereas Naga is a class of deities. Lamia is also know for eating children, but the Naga show no such inclination that I am aware of. Lamia isn't always said to have the tail of a serpent (in fact, she is almost always portrayed as a normal woman in classic artwork) while the Naga are always depicted as at least partially serpentine. As for "never be serious on FFtF" that excuse is kinda annoying now and I always end up taking things seriously when someone is insulting and I don't think I can ever change that and it's not like there's a law against that. I have had a general interest in mythology since I was a child, so it would stand to reason that I have some knowledge regarding well-known mythological figures like Lamia and Naga. This is like asking a die-hard Lord of the Rings fan how they know specific details about the Lord of the Rings mythos.
