My Leaf green Team..... -Blastoise -Venasaur -Charizard -Machamp -Porygon 2 -Farfetched/Mewtwo Farfetched Nature: Adamant Ability: Keen Eye Held Item: Stick -Swords Dance -Steel Wing -Slash -Fly Swords Dance for a good boost in all of it's moves. Steel Wing needed to swat away Rock and Ice types. (That it normally has trouble with!) Slash for a good STAB attack! Fly needed to ferry me across towns and good for in game! Stick needed to induce critical attacks! Mainly needed to EV train it in Def and Attack for it's already bad stats. Attack and Defense 252. Remaining EV into HP 6. Blastoise Nature: Hardy Ability: Torrent Held Item: Leftovers/Lum Berry/Chesto Berry -Bite -Ice Beam -Surf -Rest Bite to swat Ghosts and Psychics. Ice Beam for it to do well against Dragonite, etc. Surf for a good STAB attack. Rest for logetivity. Berry needed to recover from Sleep after using Rest. EV trained it in Speed and Sp. Attk. Speed 252. Sp. Attk 252. Venasaur Nature: Adamant Ability: Overgrow Held Item: Leftovers -Earthquake -Sleep Powder -Sludge Bomb -Swords Dance Earthquake for it's good attk. Sleep Powder to buy time for Sword Dance boosts and getting through more difficult battles with ease. Sludge Bomb for a good STAB attack having a 30% chance at poisoning an opponent. Swords Dance is logical for any Adamant natured set. No EV training. Charizard Nature: Brave Ability: Blaze Held Item: Charcoal -Swords Dance -Brick Break -Flamethrower -Wing Attack Swords Dance since breeding comes too late in this game and that no one would want to start over at raising another Charizard for Dragon Dance. Brick Break needed to take out Normal, Rock, and Steel types. Flamethrower for it's best option for a STAB fire move along with Charcoal and natural good Sp.Attk makes it all good! Wing Attack for a good move! EV trained it in Defenses and HP Defense 252 HP 252 Sp. Attk 6. Machamp Nature: Jolly Ability: Guts Held Item: Hard Stone -Cross Chop -Rock Tomb -Bulk Up -Earthquake Cross Chop for high chance of critical hits. Breeded for it! Rock Tomb needed to slow down foes as it's speed isn't so good along with needing to do well against Ice and Flying types. Bulk Up to boost it's already high Attack power even higher especially with Guts activated. Earthquake needed to 0KO Electric types. Mainly Electrode. So it doesn't slam it hard with Explosion. Good EV training in Speed makes this possible. EV trained it in Speed 252. Porygon 2 Nature: Modest Ability: Trace Held Item: Leftovers -Recover -Ice Beam -Shock Wave -Thunder Wave Recover for longetivity. Ice Beam needed to combat Dragonite, etc. Shock Wave for a good Non-Evasive attack which needed to swat away foes that uses Double Team and Minimize. Thunder Wave to cripple teams for it's mediocre Speed. EV trained it in Defenses both Physical and Magical 125 each as it normally doesn't have all that good defenses. And pumped the remaining EV into Speed 252. Mewtwo Nature: Modest Ability: Pressure Held Item: Leftovers -Water Pulse -Recover -Calm Mind -Psychic Water Pulse to swat away foes that Psychic cannot do. Recover for probably everlasting. Calm Mind to make it's already Lucieferic Sp. Attk even higher as it can already 1 shot probably every Poke without any Calm Mind boosts as it has to be the best Special Sweeper in Pokemon history. EV trained it 125 in Sp. Attk, 125 in Speed, and 252 into Defense. Battle with Elite Four and Champion Main Game Used this team..... -Blastoise -Venasaur -Charizard -Machamp -Porygon (Couldn't evolve it as you can only do this after obtaining the National Dex.) -Farfetched Against Loreli Used Machamp along with Cross Chop to make it logical. Against Bruno Machamp made this logical too. Earthquaked his Onixes and we both used Bulk Up six times making this match interesting. I've gained the upper hand of course. Against Agatha Used Blastoise for this fight and gave it Blackglasses to make this battle logical. Against Lance Blastoise with Ice Beam. =) Porygon against Gyarados. Para h4xed it and Shock Waved it to death. Against Gary -Gary Sends out Pidgeot -Sends out Porygon -Porygon uses Thunder Wave. It is paralyzed. -Pidgeot couldn't move. -Porygon does Shock Wave. It's Super Effective. A critical hit! -Pidgeot died. -Gary sends out Rhydon. -Porygon does Ice Beam. It's Super Effective! It dies. -Gary sends out Gyarados. -Porygon uses Thunder Wave. It is paralyzed. -Gyarados does Dragon Rage. Does 40 damage. -Porygon does Shock Wave. It's Super Effective! -Gary uses Full Restore. -Porygon uses Thunder Wave. It is Paralyzed. -Gyarados couldn't move. -Porygon does Shock Wave. It's Super Effective. -Gyarados does Hydro Pump. It missed! -Porygon does Shock Wave. It's Super Effective! It dies. -Gary sends out Alakazam. -Switched to Machamp. -Alakazam does Reflect. -Machamp does Earthquake. It died! -Gary sends out Arcainine. -Switched to Blastoise. -Arcainine does Extreme Speed. Blastoise got hit. -Blastoise does Surf. It's Super Effective. It died. -Gary sends out Venasaur. -Switched to Charizard. -Venasaur does Sunny Day. -Charizard does Flamethower. It's Super Effective. Venasaur died. Match ends. Professor Oak: Just when I've heard that you've defeated the Elite Four you've failed. You've failed because you've forgot to treat your Pokemon with love and trust. Ending. Used this team this time.... -Blastoise -Venasaur -Charizard -Machamp -Porygon 2 -Mewtwo Rematch with Loreli She was no trouble at all with Machamp. Rematch with Bruno (Wanted to go Luciferic this time!) This is an lol moment. Used Mewtwo. Had it use a Calm Mind and watch me wipe out his entire team by the palm of a god! Probably would have died without a Calm Mind boost as I've 125 EV trained it in Sp.Attk. It had around 285 Sp. Attk and only at LV73. It is without a doubt the best Special sweeper in the franchise! Growths are simular to Alakazam's only except to get much more Sp. Attk and defenses. Rematch with Agatha Used Mewtwo. Wiped out her entire team before any of her pokes could even make a move. They've died instantly. Luciferic. lol No Calm Mind boosts either. I don't think that most Pokemon will survive a single hit from this guy. Rematch with Lance Again. Porygon 2 and Blastoises Ice Beam made me do heavy damage to his dragons. Para h4x Gyarados as it was faster than it and Gyarados used Dragon Dance three times only that he used Hydro Pump afterwards. What a dumbass. It's Sp. BASED. It won't boost that move. Anyways Shock Waved that to death with no X Sp items to kill it. His Dragonites were cake with Ice Beam as both of my Ice Beam users were faster than them =) Rematch with Rematch With Gary Oak..... -Gary sends out Heracross. -Sends out Porygon 2. -Switched to Charizard. -Heracross does Megahorn. It's not very effective... -Charizard does Flamethrower. It's Super Effective! Heracross dies. -Gary sends out Tyranitar. -Switched to Porygon 2. -Tyranitar activates Sandstorm. -Tyranitar does Earthquake. Porygon gets hit about 1/3 of it's health. (Good EV training in Defenses made this happen. =D) -Porygon 2 does Ice Beam. Tyranitar is taken about 1/3 of it's health and is Frozen. (Laughs manically >=D) -Tyranitar is frozen and cain't move. -Switched to Machamp. -Tyranitar is Frozen and can't move. -Machamp does Cross Chop. It's Super Effective! Tyranitar dies. -Gary sends out Gyarados. -Switched to Porygon 2. -Gyarados does Hydro Pump. It missed! -Porygon 2 does Thunder Wave. It is paralyzed. -Gyarados does Hydro Pump. It missed. -Porygon 2 does Shock Wave. It's Super Effective. About half health taken. -Champion Gary uses Full Restore. It is fully healed. -Porygon 2 uses Thunder Wave. It is paralyzed. -Gyarados does Dragon Dance. -Porygon 2 does Shock Wave. It's Super Effective. Take about 3/4 it's health. (Boy, it really is fighting hard for me. ^_~) -Gyarados does Hyper Beam. Takes about most of Porygon 2's health away. No surprise. I've EV trained it 252 EV in Sp.Def as well. =) -Porygon 2 does Shock Wave. It's Super Effective! Gyarados dies. -Champion Gary sends out Arcainine. -Arcainine does Overheat. Sp.Attk lowered 2 stages. -Porygon 2 dies. -Sends out Blastoise. -Arcainine does Extreme Speed. Blastoise didn't take much damage. -Blastoise does Surf. It's Super Effective! Arcainine dies! -Champion Gary sends out Alakazam. -Switched to Venasaur. It had good enough Sp.Defenses to hopefully survive at least 1 Psychic. -Alakazam does Reflect. -Alakazam does Psychic. It was faster than Venasaur. And Venasaur took 3/4 damage. -Venasaur does Earthquake. It took half of Alakazams life. -Alakazam used Psychic. Venasaur died. -Sent in Blastoise. -Alakazam does Psychic. Blastosie was dealt about 1/2 damage. -Blastose does Bite. It's Super Effective! It died! -Champion Gary sends out Venasaur. -Blastoise does Ice Beam. It's Super Effective! Does about 1/3 damage. -Venasaur does Sunny Day. -Blastoise does Ice Beam. It's Super Effective. Did another 1/3 damage. -Champion Gary used Full Restore. -Used Revive on Porygon 2. -Blastoise does Ice Beam. It's Super Effective! Did about 1/3 damage. -Venasaur does Solar Beam. It's Super Effective! Blastoise dies. -Sends out Porygon 2 after reviving it. It recovered with Leftovers. -Used a Hyper Potion on it! -Venasaur used Sludge Bomb. Did 2/3 damage and poisoned Porygon 2. -Used Full Restore. -Venasaur used Sludge Bomb. Did 2/3's damage and poisoned Porygon 2 again. -Porygon 2 used Ice Beam. It's Super Effective! Venasaur dies. Did it all without using Mewtwo. =) Just to show that he'll never know that I have one! ^_^ And the matched ends. Gary Oak: I never made any mistakes into raising my Pokemon. The original Duwang translation was someone doing an earnest job and thinking it's passable (or so I hope), but this is just people doing it on purpose.
