Parental controls can restrict age-rated games, 3D display, internet, Streetpass, THE COOL STUFF BASICALLY ;_; Only the internet's been turned off on my 3DS though. But normally they're supposed to give you a key to reset it. It says so in the instructions too! Don't know if they want me to post it to them because it's pre-owned or what.
