I couldn't think of anything quick to add to my Jikoshoukai besides "I came from the Philippines". She said, that besides the stutters (because understandable because studying in a classroom setting instead of being immersed in the language) that I sounded pretty solid and easy to understand. It reminds me that one time we visited my Godmother's family in Los Angeles, and someone there told me I didn't sounded like a "Mexican attempting to speak English".
