LOL. :)

He's a very skilled video game player - I mean, there are a couple he's not good at, but RPGs like Diablo, Baldur's Gate, and Neverwinter Nights - he owns 'em.

This sounds clearly as a case of father fangirling, but that's perfectly acceptable

I told you, call your old man here

Okay, OldMan. Let's see you kill and eat a wild animal.

None around I'm afraid

I'm okay with the recolor because D1 is the prime example of a nicely done thing with the least resources

Would you say they did fine in continuing this trend in Diablo 2?

Considering the greater budget at the time they probably could've done less recolors. And fix the bugs faster but after 1.09/1.10 they were barely trying.

Yes, of course.

Adulthood is a social convention, after all.

As long as it doesn't paralyze me, that is.

Good.

It really is, isn't it. All the more reason to reject it.

It won't. In this, too, I have no doubt.

D2 wouldn't run in the PC I had back then (well, it ran... with hideously lengthy load times on every zone transition), so I wouldn't say that

D1 ran on a crappy pentium with 256 colors, it's a miracle of the universe

It's no wonder they didn't care too much about the bugs, since multiplayer was probably an afterthought

But social conventions are also what make we relate to others.

I'm not so optimistic, it has happened before after all

Always online single player!

What about this thread

You sound... interested

Oh... Er, online single player. Sounds fun too though.

You said internet is a safe haven for losers. But for me, it'd be just this thread.

Maybe............. maybe.

You'll probably just stab them. :Hugh:

WHY WOULD I. Cute little bunnies. ;_; Send them over to NYC.

Plus you already took my knife away. Stabbing is reserved for humans only.

Don't try Diablo 3, Shirley

Just don't

I was just reproducing a phrase someone once told me

And this is part of the internet anyway

I'd say definitely

And now people are having the gall of talking about my sleep schedule

Oh well, time to go to bed anyway

I don't think all of them are bad, of course. But some of them are pretty lame.

And you've also grown out of it. Phases happen.

Night.

I see. And even if this is part of it, it's...only a part!

Plus, I know I'm a loser already.

Maybe you're right. Er, I mean you are right.

Goodnight, TE.

Now that you mention it, I do recall people saying Duriel was impossible because of that.

One that I'm thinking about affects a particular monster added way later during 1.10. They'd shoot a trail of poison but there would be massive damage after the trail would vanish and apparently that was intended. You might not have faced it though.

i live in new jersey but nyc is a 15-20 minute drive away from me. i'm getting better at finding free street parking in NYC!

Oh oh...

what, that's impossible, free street parking in NYC. Especially if you're talking about Manhattan.

Oh oh, Sirius is here too?

BLS can totally drive 1000 miles. Are you actually serious on the number or exaggeration.

it's rare, but it's possible. although funny story: i was actually going to park at a garage but i ended up waiting 20 minutes for service and even then i was nowhere close to getting any so i basically went "fuck this. they just lost a customer", made a right, and about a block and a half later i ended up finding parking on the street.

ya, he is.

I'm dead serious. Outside of Sprawlanta, all of the large cities in the States are a long drive away from where I live.

But of course, there are those in the States who have it much worse.

Well of course... wait, you're still referring to the city and not like, another borough, right? I suppose it is possible, just hard. And maybe it depends where in the city?

Ooooh... More NYC!

...Sprawlanta? Well, you are pretty damn south... and better than being across the country.

Oh shoot, the time. I should be going to bed...
