ZemZem
Oh Ace Attorney...I have heard of this...wasn't there some "OBJECTION" saying overused from this game? Yeah, from this game and the main series. It's pretty much the catchphrase, haha.
Hatari
Yeah, from this game and the main series. It's pretty much the catchphrase, haha. heh, yeah...overused things lose their hype and interest. Unfortunately for the twilight series, I became a fan before it hit mainstream...and the movies are terrible.
PuffPuff
1. He's looks cool, what is he from. 2. I wasn't joking about competitive battling. I'm an expert at breeding (RNG), training, and raising pokemon. I suck at the actual battling part. But I can get a pokemon ready for battle rather quickly and well. Hidden Power is a great tool for Lilligant...Fire especially with Chlorophyll. Used in Sunny weather (drought or sunny day), her speed auto doubles then add quiver dance boosts and she's a monster. Not to mention Sun powers up HP Fire to a +1, so it's like a pusedo-STAB move for a grass type. This is what makes Venusaur (add growth to that as well), such a monster in OU. Chlorophyll double speed, Growth gives a +2 to Atk and Sp. Atk, Giga Drain/Solarbeam, HP Fire with Sleep powder...Lilligant can run the same set with a different base stat distribution... 1. Ace Attorney 4 Apollo Justice. And Ace Attorney is a series that I recommend playing. You really get into the stories once you start a case. 2. Yes. I almost always follow their advice...*laughs* But they tend to fail sometimes like this for example... http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/blissey Seismic Toss over Flamethrower. Seriously. What the hell? How are you to attack Ghost types without it? Although, I give her Ice Beam as it does a number to Dragons and no type is resistant to it like Fire is. Flamethrower can be thwarted by Flash Fire and such. =P Here is an example of a good competitve list for Blissey... -Softboiled/Wish -Ice Beam -Aromatherapy -Seismic Toss Edited July 28, 2013 by 綾波

Can't say I'm as much of a Phoenix Wright fan as I was about a year ago...I still play the games from time to time, but I got a bit bored after a while. People make clever parodies of the game, though, which are pretty funny to watch. I heard the books were terribly written. Is that true? Flamethrower can be thwarted by Flash Fire and such. =P Here is an example of a good competitve list for Blissey... -Softboiled/Wish -Ice Beam -Aromatherapy -Seismic Toss Smogon is a great source for competitive battling. As for blissey: 1. Remove ghosts before sending her out 2. Toss provides consistent damage. If you notice you are NOT investing in her attacking power. Blissey is a WALL. So, say, you're up against a fire type with flash fire, you're dead if you have flamethrower. Or perhaps you're against another special wall...who will take less than 100 damage from a flamethrower. Yes, ghost are immune, but the consistent damage is almost ALWAYS worth having over the ability to hit ghosts. And since Blissey is OU, the most common ghost you will see is Gengar who has paper thin defense. Not hard to get rid of in most cases. Same goes for ice beam it wrecks dragons, but you don't invest in sp. atk and you don't get STAB. You have to look at what the pokemon's purpose and Blissey is almost always used as a special wall. There is something called a Skambliss combo, where the defensive core of a team is Skarmory who has killed defensive but sucky sp. def and Blissey who is the opposite. ZemZem
Hi ZM. Fancy seeing you here. Hiya Boron. I don't post here often unless I see something I want to add onto, haha. There are books? I know there was a movie, but books? Guess I shouldn't be surprised. The movies spawned from the books, IIRC. I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies, though. I don't want to either way. [/nods] It takes about every rule of authoring I know about and breaks it. Badly. FELLOW SCIENTIST! :D That sounds rather painful to read. Vashiane
Meanwhile, in most fanfics, Twilight 50 Shades of Grey, etc. o.O I - I forgot I dared someone I'd read that... What was I thinking? Hiya Boron. I don't post here often unless I see something I want to add onto, haha. The movies spawned from the books, IIRC. I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies, though. Edward sounds more like an abusive stalker than just a "brooding romantic".

Hatari
I heard the books were terribly written. Is that true? I enjoyed them. You have to realize what audience they were written for and their purpose. Different mind set for different types of books. Harry Potter is the same way and I love them. There are books? I know there was a movie, but books? Guess I shouldn't be surprised. Yes, the books came first. Similar to Harry Potter...books got popular, then they spawned movies as fast as possible to ride the wave. [/nods] It takes about every rule of authoring I know about and breaks it. Badly. Not necessarily, audience matters...these books were written for teenage/young readers...so if you're expecting something like Hamlet, then yes, it will break a lot of rules. Meanwhile, in most fanfics, Twilight 50 Shades of Grey, etc. lol 50 shades of gray...I won't even go near that series. The movies spawned from the books, IIRC.I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies, though. I don't want to either way. FELLOW SCIENTIST! :D That sounds rather painful to read. Most guys are of that opinion...and the ones I know only saw them because their gfs dragged them along.

My sister read me a chapter of 50 Shades of Grey once...it was interesting. And by interesting, I mean it was literally written porn. :P I don't know any of the characters but Bella, Edward, and some other guy, lol. I enjoyed them. You have to realize what audience they were written for and their purpose. Different mind set for different types of books. Most guys are of that opinion...and the ones I know only saw them because their gfs dragged them along. Well, that's understandable. If one audience doesn't like something doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable for everyone. Haha, well...I'm sure the movies had their perks. If it's distaste with no plot that's one thing...otherwise, there is some out there that actually might be good. Who knows. I read mainly fantasy, sci-fi with romance elements. Kinda like how I will venture into shonuen-ai territory but I stay the hell away from Yaoi/Yuri/Hentai. Different levels. Bella, Edward, Jacob...the whole team vampire (Edward) or team Werewolf (Jacob). Yep, always gotta consider this. Or at the very least I do. By perks if you mean bad acting, cheesy scenes and downright suckyness....sure it had it's "perks". The honeymoon scene where Edward broke the bed...was completely lawl worthly. He cracks the headboard and the canopy basically falls down.

As for yaoi/yuri/hentai, I try to stay away from yaoi as much as possible, but I don't mind yuri. Eh. I don't mind people's opinions of either, but that's how I feel. I don't feel like discussing hentai. XP Ahhhh that was his name. I forgot about Jacob. I consider it, too. I respect opinions as much as I can, after all. LOL the bed breaking sounds hilarious.
