Until you run into multiple games where you're playing a 5 Hard-carry team, you won't really see the importance of supports. It sucks that you can't really build items when you're playing support but you just can't run around the map without vision of it. I think supports should be allowed some kills so they can get the items a bit faster. Though League is a bit better on supports since I heard Dota doesn't have gold per 5 seconds item. But you can go Nidalee support in League! =P Or even support Heimer. You're a Heimer player too? If so (=´∀｀)人(´∀｀=) that HP5 lol.
