Actually, it's more for the sake of filling out the monster book since quite a few enemies are only encounterable for certain time periods (mainly human enemies). You only need to steal ONE of their swords (you can forge the other), but since I have to steal it anyways, might as well grab both. They're also my favorite weapons for Estelle for whatever reason.'
