Besides for situations where I'm given a Pokémon and I know it's happening, I tend to savescum to get something cool.

I didn't do that for my Charmander because I didn't exactly know when it happened, but I guess there's breeding and Dittos for that. Besides, I already have a Fire type on my team.

You literally would have to battle him before you can choose and cannot save in between after battling him and before selecting your Kanto starter.

Optimization is something I don't really care about either - whims decide it for me.

My Speed Boost Torchic is Jolly natured along with Quick temper. Thank god, we've got that Blazakenite. As it cannot be obtained in regular gameplay.

And it's cool that you can use it in battle with a regular Pokeball.

No, if Xerneas's and Yveltal's catch rates are anything like Reshiram's and Zekrom's, then this is not a difficult feat at all.

And I just did it because I like all my Pokemon in Pokeballs, a few exceptions being hard-to-catch legendaries in Ultra/Master Balls and Dark/Ghost-type Pokemon in Dusk Balls.

I'm hoping that their catch rates are like Zekrom's and Reshiram's as I plan to use an Uber...Yveltal. Sorry, I just sometimes can't resist their luciferic powers. Doesn't make me a noob as I use NU tier pokes alot more for greater challenge.

I like putting Fighters in Great Balls.

I lke putting alien pokemon in Dusk Balls.

I like putting cute and pretty pokemon in Heal Balls.

I like putting in most Pokemon in either Poke or Great Balls.
