I dunno if he gets them later but in 2nd OG on the PS3 each individual pilot gets 5 spirits. Yan Long doesn't have focus in the earlygame, IIRC it's Strike, Wall and perhaps some over move I forgot but he's definitely one of the pilots lacking Focus when their machine isn't exactly high in Armor. That reminds me, I should resume the game, left off somewhere around the 20s. Ratsel's as awesome as ever.
