I took the online quiz on ozone without reading anything and just by prior knowledge. Got a 100%. Well, our professor is doing all sorts of things and asking student preceptors for weekly feedback to make the class more interesting. The sad truth is, I don't think a lot of them care. It's a general education science class for non-science majors. Most of them just want their credits and nothing more. Maybe you could start taking laptops and phones if you see them using them so blatantly in class (unless your prof's prohibited that course of action) to try and force them to start paying attention. Yeah, a lot of people likely wouldn't care if they didn't need it for their major. But then, why would they be in the class in the first place?
