Fruity Insanity Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) So it's like 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of med school, 8 years of residency (making like less than $70,000/year too), 4 years of fellowship training, and then doctorship. From there you either belong to a hospital and make a comfortable $250,000 a year or so, OR you can go to business school, get a degree, and open up your own private clinic and really make the mega moneys. Yeah, my cousin in Korea is a doctor. That is, she's doing her residency right now, after finishing a 6-year undergrad+med school program. I have an uncle in dentistry who works in Jersey and another uncle (both on my dad's side) working his own clinic in Baltimore, so I'm planning on doing something there maybe over the summers like as an internship or something.
