Aquakat
Until you get to Calc. Then it's dust in the wind. No, it's when you have to get to multiple proofs that it starts getting weird. Calc, calc 2, multivariable calc... that was all very, very logical. calc is perfectly fun and logical whatchu smokin This vectors are worse Not... really? ...I found them easy... physics was fun... Integrity
Wait, you're not talking of the one who asked it? multiply the first by 2/2 (aiming for denominator of 6) multiply the second by 3/3 (^) -8 - -9 = -8+9 = 1, all over 6 Yay. Im doing ok. But now Integ is mathing and my brain is going nope. no i'd never disrespect a guy trying to learn
Loki Laufeyson
it's middle school math You...really have no idea just how fucking awful at maths i am. lol Was thinking it was strange, then saw the age, and now I'm not that surprised. tbh i have nothing against people who don't like math but for one's brain to go boop when talking about adding fractions is just mind-boggling Guys, i never got higher than a B grade in any maths class ive ever taken. How i managed to get through them at all still alarms me. Im that fucking bad at it. If i didnt have a calculator, i was up shit creek. Yeah. Dr. Tarrasque
I found Vectors easy. It's definitely integration by parts and some of the later chapters of integration that sicken me as the stupidest mistake can lead to a tedious night. Acacia Sgt
no i'd never disrespect a guy trying to learn Wait, then who is this person then? since theres a ton of math homework talk around here can someone help me with this, (-4/3)-(-3/2) i keep on getting -1/3 but that doesn't feel right, If not who asked first? Integrity
Why disrespect someone who owns up to being that woefully terrible at something? dude there's being mad at math and then there's going "ya my brain hurts" when we're talking about arithmetic i literally can't understand it EDIT: or maybe i just read too much snideness into "integ's talking about math my brain hurts" when i was just trying to help a guy out ;/ Edited February 26, 2014 by Integrity
Acacia Sgt
Well, all I know was that I thought you were answering the problem for that guy, who being 16 made me thought it was kinda reasonable since one would still see those sort of problems even if already at High School. Ah well...
Loki Laufeyson
Matthew effect. You need someone with the patience to teach you well. Probably. I was always ass at fractions, even the basic ones. dude there's being mad at math and then there's going "ya my brain hurts" when we're talking about arithmetic i literally can't understand it. Other than adding, subtracting, dividing, ratios and percentages, i was always terribad. That terribad. I was That Kid who had to have special tutoring occasionally in order to understand this shit. Some of it never quite sunk in and i really didnt go past algebra.
