You have to use the best of the best if you plan on winning with more or less ease and living characters. Like, I my endgame team was always MU (because LOL those growths), Marth (because you have to), Caeda (WING SPEAR), Catria (good overall), Malliesia (solid healer), Feena (DANCE DANCE DANCE FOR ME), Tiki (LOL, OHKO DEM ENDGAME DRAGONS), Sirius (because Nyna), Merric (because solid mage and Elice), Julian (for Thief capabilities and Lena), and Minerva (because Maria). Luke and Palla are solid choices as well, and a lot of people are surprised I don't use her (Palla) often. Mostly because I just find Tiki so much more useful towards the endgame, even though I have to feed her kills and baby her when I first recruit her. I'd love to use Michalis, too, because HE'S SO COOL, but alas, no space. >_____> Mallisia is all I ever use for my staff needs. Nosferatu tanking and staff utility does make her OU tier. Caeda as her Speed allows her to double. Palla for those bases. Sirius for those bases and recruiting Nyna. The other three Merric, Minerva and Elice can be rescued after recruiting the other three priestesses as they don't have to be used. Feena can also fight too with her usual 50ish % growth. Tiki and Naga needed for endgame. Michalis is a roll of the dice to use with his usual bad luck stat. On Lunatic, I wouldn't use more than 8 characters, so they get more experienced. All. ...And as to why that they have to throw Silvers at your near the start of the game on Lunatic! Chapter 20 on H1 is a nightmare without Again.
