oh yeah since i accidentally read the page

The Z-axis? I suppose it depends on how they're used. Like, many cases and the like the up-down thing is normally the Y-axis, with Z-axis being depth. I suppose it's just perspective then.

when i was doing multivariable calc X was often in/out, Y left/right, Z up/down. i have no idea what the context of this line was, but this probably doesn't clarify anything.

i believe this is what we used in multivar

but it could be different depending I guess

I mean when I did 3d graphics and game programming there's different coordinates depending if you're in blender doing the models or putting this shit out in the actual code it gets confusing

so basically the one i have rotated 90 degrees p much

(quite, I have no paint skills at all, in fact, plenty of photoshop though)

i think pretty much any x/y/z is rotated +/- 90 degrees in one plane or another from any other x/y/z lmao

(but yes)

EDIT: i guess you could have a default where +x is going into the page or something but that would be WEIRD

Whether you use y-up axis or z-up axis is pretty much arbitrary.

Most often though, programs that are used for architecture will use z-up because they consider xy to be the plane for the floor and z the height.

I agree it's pretty damn annoying when you have to use different programs with different axis

I'm glad you agree! I love P, but I think my true love is S. M is great too, though! And so is the green one...but not as much as the rest.

Haggle Man 2 was basically a rehash. Bigger levels and some other minute differences. BAH. O-okay, maybe I'm being a bit too harsh, but it wasn't different enough for being a sequel! It felt more like...an expansion pack!

Th-that's what I fear. ;_;
