Having used it on other forums, it's more convenient than manually refreshing just to see if you got something. Especially when you didn't get anything (like most cases). Marthur Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Hitboxes were incredibly wonky. Unbelievably unreliable on whether you'd get a knockdown, or they'd keep coming at you. It felt like every move you learned powered up your dude slightly, maybe like half a bar of armor and damage? idk, I just felt like even when I wasn't upgrading my turn kick it was getting stronger somehow, but maybe it was just black magic. Accidentally losing my companion to the ghost girl right away made it so that I couldn't collect scrolls anymore, because I needed his dumb ass to carry them apparently, and as I hadn't upgraded my punches yet, that "boss fight" with the ghost girl to get him back was incredibly tedious. Like, holy shit, pulling teeth levels of bad. Overall, once you got used to it, it wasn't that bad, though grinding for 50 scrolls in town 4 from its 12 scroll drops was annoying, considering you lost half your scrolls upon continues. Granted, if you used the temple after every one, it would have been cake, but greed told me I could do two rounds between heals, and occasionally greed was sorely mistaken. Baby Conshi was 100% worthless, for the most part. Though, vs tall enemies he's practically invincible, so I guess if you can face off with the others somehow... I am feeling warm and tingly. Thanks for the praises, comrade. Btw, I didn't even realize you could move while crouching, maybe it's because of my controller though. Also, I thought that speeding up your character actually made him worse (after the second speed upgrade), because of how slippery he is. Baby Conshi died for me. Another fun fact: there's a series that hints at a picture not being included on purpose because it was embarrassing. But History is written by the winners after all.
