Marthur
I have trouble with Karate Man. T_T I can get good flow near the middle but I lose it... I have trouble with the "tutorial" for it too :/ "it's easier with the music now isn't it?!" "...nooooo it isn'tttt" Maybe I am doing something wrong, or my timing really is bad. It makes me think if all the rhythm games I've played are too lenient. @Marthur documentary? are they filming you? As Rei Rei said, feel the rhythm They're filming around marching is awful get the timing of once you miss the whole thing and i'm still not sure if i'm supposed to turn left or right when i have to I like the description for this one. Okay never mind, I'm the best and figured out the trick to Bon Odori. Mwahahaha. Also I agree, the marching is absolute bullshit. What's your trick? Mine was to start pressing when the -do was halfway lit. < No real problem with the marching with enough training

I guess we all have to be smug about something... i knew i could count on you comrade it's a pity the game is too grindy to recommend to people nowadays ;_; Indeed. Double indeed. I always want more people to play it and stuff but I know the game is just too archaic. ;__;
TheEnd
Indeed. Double indeed. I always want more people to play it and stuff but I know the game is just too archaic. ;__; phantasy star 4 is nice and all, but 2 is simply a masterpiece of minimalistic storytelling also finding the entrance to esper mansion was hard and i simply couldn't do it without help from a gaming magazine i grinded so much looking for it
Marthur
Pretty much yours, more or less. I guess we all have to be smug about something... Okay I-I'm not. It probably took me 7~8 tries to get a medal, but I see that as normal since I don't expect to beat all of them in one go... The worst for me were Bon-Odori / Samurai one / Rap Men so far I'm probably forgetting some others too.

That was hell. But I'd also go so far as to say some dungeons, mostly the mid to late game ones, were the same in that sense. That last stretch really burned me out in fact, but I forced myself to go through it just 'cause. Okay I-I'm not. Oh well, I guess we all have our things...I really suck at the penguins, too. Most of the others were okay.

But a lot of the time when I think of these games, there's a twinge in my heart and a desire for much more. ;__; Luckily I was using an internet guide from the beginning because ain't no way I'm doing all those dungeons by myself. Tsk tsk. He should get back to it now that the internet exists in full force.
Rei Rei
The easiest ones I found to be the Samurai and Rap Men. And Karate Man
Marthur
Samurai really? I thought that was super easy. Oh well, I guess we all have our things...I really suck at the penguins, too. Most of the others were okay. Even for the medal? I often missed with the fast pairs. The penguins took me 2 tries. But yeah, most are okay. The easiest ones I found to be the Samurai and Rap Men. And Karate Man Rap Men took me forever until... I noticed the text's colour tells you what move to do...

A most tragic fate. ;__; At least they still honour their old IPs in some ways (i.e. racing games). Then you have Capcom and Konami... Dang, you're a harder man than I.
