Adding swords, changing minor parts is fun and all, but I'm afraid that will lose the audience's interest quickly. So I want you to suggest something for me to do, within my level of experience, or possibly a little beyond. Well... I didn't make a lot of battle sprites because I find them less interesting. I can't wait for the day when I can make my own customs! I might not be able to do that, but we all have to push the envelope someday. I'll get right on that. I think the only thing really wrong with the Levin one is slight misproportions of the front of the face due to having to draw it at the side (I know this, because I have trouble with that myself). For now, just steal pick the colors from existing characters. First row is transparency, somewhat white (not always needed since you can in fact use the pale skin color instead.), grey, and dark. Second row are the skin tones. Third row -1 are hair tones. You can use the empty spaces for the clothes. When you're done with your palette. Never use any other color when making your sprite.
