That's kinda what I suspected too, at least with the money reason. And well... there's always external HDs to store the old files? Assuming your old computer can still function to some degree that you can transfer files to an external source. Skype? Well, mobile skype isn't as terrible as going on SF on mobile. Well, I can't really relate on the skype then. ;w; though multiple chats can lag and stuff. Maybe you can change some settings so it wouldn't lag your phone as much? I'm not too sure myself though. It irks me how my bro got a tablet, which is essentially a mini detachable laptop just cause he asked for it, when he already has a perfectly working laptop, whereas I have to pay for one myself, after struggling both with and without one for almost a year.
