Find one in english that isn't emulated, etc. then sure...

@pilot: ohhh....was it just me or did anyone else have to use a smart bomb to save falco in level 1?

I picked them off. It wasn't until Assault that I learned that Smart Bombs didn't hurt allies.

I can understand having to use one, but I generally can get them with a well placed lock-on. Maybe laser if one remains.

I'm also pretty ridiculous at the game, so... Yeah. XP

Okay then. Landmaster or the Hildolfr?

Landmaster due to maneuverability gained by thrusters.

I can do it with a lock-on, but I'm lazy...and smart bombs work well...

I use to be good at it...bleh, I think I still owe you high scores.

Heh, true. And yes.

Wasn't the landmaster relatively slow though? The Hildolfr's shown to be quick enough to keep up with Mobile Suits at full run at least...

Not specifically stated how quick, really. So, even if slower, once again, nine Nova Bombs and ability to hover would place them above in my mind.

The Hildolfr's got some heavy duty ammunition, including anti-air. It could probably shoot down the bomb before it went off.

Really, when has ANYONE tried to shoot down Smart Bombs in Star Fox?

The problem with trying to shoot them down? You get a mass explosion in your face, and the bombs themselves are pretty quick.

They're not that fast in 64, and I think they just get slower...

Why would you shoot them down!? You're the one using them XD.

I mean enemies.

Well, I do it that way too, so you're not alone

The mass explosion is more of a problem. The tank can't fire them far, so if it is close enough to bomb you, you're probably getting hit even if you shoot it.

Well, there you go.

Oh, you must mean in multi-player or something...because, enemies can't seem to shoot them down in single-player.

Can't in multi, either.

All this Star Fox talk is making me want to play. So, time to do a high-score run.
