It played similar to a Flowchart ken in that, he moved away to spam a projectile and then proceeded to spam a powerful close range move, Shoryuken in Ken's case, Thunder in Pikachu's case (A thunderbolt strikes Pikachu from above and the impact damages nearby enemies). Also: Well, it's more the fact that they're resistant to light, really, since most Castlevania games have a lot of enemies that are weak against light. And the attack where arrows fire around them in a circle can be pretty hard to avoid when you're close to them. Admittedly, though, they tend to drop fast, especially in SotN.
