Your playable wind mages are the most broken mages in the game and are actually considered some of the best in the series. With one of them being an awesome pimp. With one of them being an awesome pimp. Generally speaking, Mages were great in the old games as they were pretty powerful offensively. Then FE6 came and downhill they go. In this case, Bartz seems more like a dumb comic relief character than someone who should be a leader. Faris would have made a better protagonist as well.
