Having a lance as a main weapon doesn't really help. Also, I barely use Luke and Rody. They both are ORKO'd by everything, including thieves. They both are ORKO'd by everything, including thieves. The only one of the first 3 cavs worth using is Luke IMO, he needs the less level ups to survive an attack from the 27 ATK bandits in chapter 1.
