A good idea is to make the same character use both staves, and use a staff with a known Experience value (preferably Fortify or Hammerne). Eg. Laura gets 20 EXP for Rescue, 100 EXP for Ashera and 60 EXP for Fortify. Do you mean Weapon exp. or battle exp.? I assume you mean weapon exp., but I want to be sure. I already have all the weapon exp values ^^ Oh....I assumed weapon exp. by the way you suggested using a staff with a known value, and I can't see why you would need to do that. I don't believe it does. In PoR and RD, I know that every time I have used Heal, Mend, and Physic staves, no matter the promotion, I have gotten 11, 12, and 22, respectively.
