You go down 1 tile of stairs to get to the red arrow level (If you take the left facing staircase) but then only go up 1 to get back to the throne (When you take the north facing staircase) ? I just don't want to post the entire thing yet, but yes, the map is a difficult perspective(I spent half the day working on it just to make it make sense) Huzzah! I didn't even read your post prime! Not feeling the building colours either. :( Well derp. But yeah, that's an okay map you got there.
