Her lover would be able to give her money for pricey staves or she could give her money to her lover before she's kidnapped . Except that it makes the fight against Julius so much easier. A base level Julia wouldn't do well against Julius even with Narga. She also gets nice promotion gains because of the sage's high bases. And as stated, she is the only character that can kill Julius with no effort whatsoever.
