Hollywood says: "Darker, More Sohpisticated Shelock Homes"

...He looks more like House, which just doesn't work for me in spite of the latter character being influenced by Holmes.

I'm sporadically working my way through the Holmes canon in chronological order, and assuming that the character isn't totally changed in the latter half of the series (which I can't believe)...this feels wrong. It's Sherlock Holmes gone 20th Century Hollywood, and even if it somehow turns out to be a decent story in its own right it simply can't coincide with my view of the character (influenced solely by the books, since I've never seen more than twenty seconds of any adaptation).

I misunderestimated my chances of making 2 spelling mistakes in one title. Leaving for posterity.

Come to think, of it, reverting to original title.

The problem is I'm not sure I would use "sophisticated" to describe the trailer

Considering the actors, "entertaining," yeah, but

I don't even know

I somehow suspect that that is a joke.
