Ryan7556
I searched for FE4 text editors and found this: (http://forums.grandbell.net/index.php/topic,172.0.html) But that forum is closed down now apparently. Does anyone still have that zip that's explained in that thread? If anyone doesn't, will I have to contact Pukachi? I hear she isn't really active. Aleph
She's making the patch all over again. She had discarded all of her related material, presumably out of disinterest. Edit: Pukachi says this might be of interest to you all. Patch - apply to a ROM patched with the "original j2e translation", she says. No idea if that patch is for a headered or non-headered ROM, so just go with whichever of the two doesn't crash (duh). Also, Pukachi sez: let them know that when modifying text, random byte numbers are from control codes and japanese characters and the patch I provided is at least for a headered ROM More: (8:05:54 PM) Pukachi: when looking for scripts to change, some people might get confused on seeing this (8:05:58 PM) Pukachi: so I will explain (8:07:03 PM) Pukachi: the patch changes stuff to ASCII as you may have heard so almost everything else is just changed to byte numbers for the sake of easy searching (8:08:16 PM) Pukachi: for instance, mideel's first few characters to search for are... 63 B0 9A A8 8C 0A 61 09 BB that should be more than enough; 09 - 0E are text control codes due to the immense amount of kanji (8:08:23 PM) Pukachi: and that about sums it up Edited October 21, 2009 by Xeld
Celice
You can also likely reach her through her YouTube account, which she (according to itself) checks somewhat regularly. If need-be.
