Healing utility. His durability isn't so hot,so rushing isn't exactly the best unless your name is Silver Sigurd. Also, people like Fin could do better (Abet the first 2 chapters are a bitch on him), and he gets a Hero lance, so for the....2 chapters he uses it, he's better, and then he can pass it to someone who can use it better. *coughcoughFurycough* Also, canon Wife of the badass dude with a bard class. Fair enough.
