Appassionato was my main form of dealing damage to Ledah because Serene just couldn't survive repeated Fire attacks. And I didn't even know you could get the Moon Wand by the time you reach Archangel. It is. And I also doubt that it has anything to do with elements. In that case, I really don't know for sure what the Ignore Properties means. But the ignoring defensive stats might be it. Although most of the results taken on these tests are never 100% true for the most part. I mean, I got 90% stability AND 90% Hypersensitivity(Basically meaning I'm an unstable wreck that worries too much according to this test).
