Hero Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 Those search engine bots are given some of the privileges of members when they're indexing through the site so that more results from this forum will appear in searches. It's because a lot of forums out there limit how much guests can see without registering. It also leads to some funny situations when the search engines try to index "Add Reply" and "Start a new topic" pages, as I've pointed out before.
