Who is the best Druid in the GBA versions

I think it will be between Canas and Ray

OK, my Ranks

Ray (very good MAG&SKL stat, good SPD&RES&HP, Dark magic don't lower it that much)

Canas (more durable,Good/Average everywhere. Come quite early, but his MAG stat can easily be screwed)

Ewan (comes late and underleveled, but turn good everywhere (especially the LCK)

Niime (Staff utility, average stats except the very bad DEF&HP)

Knoll (comes late and quite underleveled with crappy base stats(O LCK and 2 DEF !), needs the Hoplon Guard if he doesn't want to be criticaled by any ennemy, terrible DEF&LCK, good/average in the others stats)

Sophia (come late and underleveled, forced in one of the worst chapter, Awesome MAG&RES, average stats everywhere)

No. They're mediocre, or at least the HP stat is decent for a magic user in FE6 not named Hugh.

Ray is the best overall, his Def is average, he bears decent Spd, Skill and will almost cap Magic, but I voted for Ewan, he turns out great.

But his HP&RES aren't bad. A large part of other FE6 Magic users have similar HP&RES (only Saul has both best HP&RES than him))

But "good HP&RES" was overrated

Canas sucks, dunno why people actually like him for slightly decent Defense, his Spd, Mag & Skill are mediocre, his Res is just good. Ewan, Ray & Niime are even better than him.

Good luck raising Ewan from terribleness to badness to averageness.

At equal levels for 20/20 on Canas and 20/20/20 for Druid Ewan:

Canas wins in HP, SKL, and DEF.

Ewan wins in STR, SPD, lolLCK, and RES.

LCK makes shit difference this time around.

So Ewan wins offensively but Canas defensively.

However, Canas also has Anima affinity and a C with Pent, who has Ice, which is fucking amazing while Ewan gets saddled with lolLight and with people who either don't want him (Tethys, Saleh), or who suck just as much (Dozla, Amelia, Ross). Either way, they take goddamn forever to build up anyway.

Also, Gespenst > Gleipner. Also, FE7 Luna >>>>>>> FE8 Luna.

Oh and by the way Canas has +6 HP, +7 STR, +7 SKL, +3 SPD, +2 LCK, +5 DEF, +5 RES, +2 CON, and +1 MOV bases over Ewan.

Canas also wins growths in HP by 20%, SPD by 5%, DEF by 10%, and RES by 5%. In fact, the differences are so marginal between them, the ONLY reason Ewan maintains what seems to be a win is because he promotes twice. Although you'll actually have to RAISE that piece of shit in order to make him SLIGHTLY usable.

Canas is not only the only character with access to Dark, or in other words LUNA, other than Athos, but is a good character in his own right. Certainly no Levin!Sety or Haar, but he is a good unit to use nonetheless.

It is'nt "lolLuck" is FOURTEEN LUCK while Ewan will be bearing +TWENTY-FOUR AVO than Canas, especially when Ewan comes in a chapter sorrounded by lolmonsters, he's easy to train, at least easier when he's doubling while Canas can't even do that by the start or upon promotion.

Canas wins bylol1skill and by 4def, which isn't much when Ewan cold bear +TWENTY FOUR AVO, especially since this is lolfe8. Ewan isn't just winning at Magic, he bears +2 Mag, and if Sage!Moulder's Mag is considered great then Ewan just blows you away since his Mag is higher and he uses Dark magic.

And by the way, it's not like you'll be dumb enough as to equipped that heavy, S-ranked dark tome in either games, they're good with Luna. AndFomortiis is just lol.

No. Ewan comes with 6 AS vs Canas' stumpy lol5AS, he only relies high Atk and has poor dodge that is not even in his favor, Ewan at least has terrain advantage on his joining chapter and doubles the enemies.

Where are you getting these figures from? Ewan has 5 AS and Canas has 7. Ewan only doubles steel lance and javelin bonewalkers which everybody else doubles too

Ewan will be doubling most monsters that aren't Gargoyles or Tarvos.

As in, SO WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE DOES TOO.

As in, no big deal that he can double monsters because EVERYONE ELSE CAN TOO.

In fact, I recall Ewan not being able to double Mogalls during his Trainee period.

Exept that he isn't bad, if you want "bad" we have Knoll. Canas is only useful endgame wih the excuse of Luna, he is overall mediocre when his Atk is around the same as Lucius who uses lightning but can double instead while bearing a decent support with Raven.

Why not vote for her? Canas' mommy is great, she can heal and be useful at combat at the same time, her Avo is quite reliable.
