CrashGordon94
Everything nowadays supports Firefox, and Firefox is easy to use/simple,just as much as IE. Okay for the first point, but no, it's not as simple to use as IE, having seen it in action, it looks really overcomplicated. IE isn;t necessarily bad,but most places with public computers have a lot,so they don;t bother to change them. Fair enough. Firefox is noticably faster, and while it's security isn't always needed,it is helpful, and it is an advantage over IE. @ bold: No way, CHROME barely beats IE, and it's the faster browser EVER! Most web browsers tend to be the same-ish speed on my comp. @ italics: Not really, it's just redundant if you have decent antivirus.
Bryan
Do you know what else firefox has that ie doesn't? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ That is about it, and most of them are only so/so, except for Personas <3 IE8>FireFox>IE7. IE8 has tab recovery, a seperate private browsing feature. (<3) It is also faster for me, (PEMN) But firefox should be high teir.

NoNameAtAll
Posted at Soul's request. NOTE: This is based purely on my opinion. High Tier: IE7 Mid Tier: IE6 Low tier: Firefox (Don't you say ONE word! No seriously, don't.) I see something frighteningly wrong here. IE6 is a blemish that needs to die ASAP. Google agrees, seeing as Youtube gives a warning about using IE6. IE6 alone holds back improving web standards. Basically, IE6 is shit. IE7 is also shit, but less so. IE8's the best out of Internet Explorer, but it still sucks. Fun fact: IE5.5 scores higher on the Acid3 test than IE6 and 7. NoNameAtAll
What's acid3? ...Basically, it tests a browser on standards. Web standards. Rendering, and all sorts of fun shit. And IE fails horribly on it. Hell, Phoenix 0.1 (First version of Firefox), which was made in 2002 before the test, scores a 36. Meanwhile, IE8, which was made in...2009 I believe, scores a 20. The most recent test build of Firefox with HTML5 enabled scores a 97. Right now, Safari, Google Chrome and Opera pass the test with a 100/100. In short, IE sucks and it needs to die. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid3 Edited March 1, 2010 by NoNameAtAll
