Please vote for what YOU think is the best/worst in the series for this round. The round will last for about a week or so, after which I will tally the votes, and will add the top three to a list in the opening post of the next topic.

It would be nice if you nominate ideas for when I'm out of them. I'll keep track of the nominations. Please nominate only once a round. You may nominate for idea that have already been nominated.

Please remember to nominate. Also, if your vote is not for one person/thing/etc, it will be thrown out. Your vote will also be thrown out if the FE game it is from is not stated if it is needed. This is mainly to avoid confusion.

If you excessively complain about the results of previous rounds, you will not be allowed to vote in these topics for a period of time that will be determined later. A list will be kept of those who will not be allowed to vote, and how many rounds until they can vote again.

Glass cannons? I'm assuming you mean any unit that has low durability and high damage, not just mages or?

Hell, I can't think of an offensive unit I've used that had particularly low durability. I'll have to think of this one...

EDIT: Myrmen and Mages, maybe?

I'm guessing this would be units with high STR/MAG but extremely frail? I'll go with 70%+ on their offense growth.

Best: Sara. Her promotion helps her double more and use Wind and she's packing a great skill set and awesome staff utility right off the bat.

Worst: Lilina. Her SPD gives her doubling issues (Hard Mode).

Best: Micaiah, I guess. Her Thani-bombing is nearly necessary to beat armors, and later on she gets staves on a team that desesperately need healing.

Worst: Diadora. Negative avoid forever: not good. Also less than 1 and a half chapters of availability with 5 move.

Best: Sara. She kills stuff like mad, dodges like mad, A-ranks staves in no time in a game in which staves are broken like hell and gets OHKO'd by everything except magic (if she actually gets hit)? Hell yes!

Worst: Micaiah. She's not that bad, but she gets ORKO'd by absolutely every physical enemy in the game at pretty high hit rates and doesn't ORKO anything back. Now that sucks. She has some healing utility aside from that, but that's nothing spectacular, especially considering the existance of 8 use vulneraries that heal 20 HP per use.

Best:Micaiah - Thani pulls it's weight where it's needed,and Wrathblitzing is useful,plus staves when you desperately need them.

Worst:FE10 Rhys - He's not even good at being a glass cannon...lol

Seems sound but 70% is a little ridiculous. That exempts EVERYBODY from FE9, for example, except Muarim/Largo/Tibarn/Giffca (NONE of whom are glassy in the slightest) for STR and Elincia for MAG - and nobody from 7 OR 8 except Myrrh has that kind of growth. I'll go with sound (>=50% str/mag) offensive growth coupled with poor(<=35% spd/def?) defensive growth for mine.

And now to roll with the flow.

BEST: FE9 Ilyana. She's actually made of glass unlike most of my mages. Also, I have a fetish for Thunder magic and she starts with it. Yay.

WORST: FE7 Lucius. He hits hard enough and takes enough damage in return to fit in my category, but he never does what I want him to do. Plus, Canas overrides all.

EDIT: Spurred by the above quote, I went and checked the growth rates on some older games and it seems 70+% offensive growth was much more common back then as compared to now, so ridiculous wasn't the right word. Still, it seems 70% for 5 is now ~60%.

EDIT2: Honorable mention goes to the Phantoms Summoners made in FE8. THAT was true glass cannontry.

I doubt Vika counts. She's not exactly good offensively, which is a characteristic of a glass cannon. I usually think of mages when it comes to glass cannons.
