Are enemy growths affected by difficulty mode?

Unless this is different to earlier games, I don't think so. The enemy gets a certain number of bonus levels on harder difficulties - on FE7, for example, they get 5 levels worth of growth automatically (so 11/-- enemies have the stats of 16/-- enemies on Normal mode). I think I remember noticing this on this game, it's about 6 levels on H3 IIRC.

I forgot exactly what defines those three parts. I know all the Gaiden chapters use the early-game numbers and I seem to remember that end-game only counts the Gharnef and Medeus chapters.

Depends on the enemy. Manaketes get the most insane growth boosts though, and even +10 levels on a Manakete is enough for it to cap speed. Lowest boosts are on Hunters, with their laughable 10%STR/30%SPD/10%DEF.

Enemies have different growth rates? News to me!

Fighters with their 90% HP, 50% def are also fearsome. Too bad they stop existing past like chapter 4.

Now I really don't want to see a Chapter 10 Fighter...

I see why they were "discontinued".
