Suicune: Not this again... Raikou: You're on, Entei! Entei: You go first. Raikou: *summons a giant thunderbolt that hits the house* Entei: My turn! *blazes a huge fire, and the house starts burning* Suicune: Look at what you guys did! Raikou: AAH THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE Entei: PUT IT OUT SUICUNE PUT IT OUT Suicune: I'm trying! I'm trying! *before the fire could be put out, all 3 died* Ho-Oh: *looks down at their bodies and shakes his head* I told you guys not to play rough, but nooo.... *revives* Entei: OH NO IT'S HO-OH Raikou: RUN HE'S MAD AT US Suicune: THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU TWO! *they speed out of their* Ho-Oh: *shakes head again* Tch, tch, tch. It was actually stated that a lightning bolt struck the tower and the fire raged on for about... three days, I think. I believe rain put it out. It doesn't really fit, because the lightning bolt caused the fire. As for why the legendary gerbils were turned into statues, this I do not know.
