Tables
"[Lux]... thank you for coming anyway. Even if you die today... this is your first time downstairs, isn't it? And you vote straight for someone we've confirmed is working for us. It won't matter. If killing you brings us closer to the truth then it is the best thing you can do. I'm sorry..." Percivalé
(It’s rushed, sorry) Lorena stood before the crowd in dismayed awe as Helle escorted her to the podium, doing so in a much more gentler manner than she had done with Quintcy the day before. She spoke with a slight tinge of regret in her voice. “Lorena, I am afraid to admit that we have decided on your execution today. Is there anything you would like to convey to us before then?” The girl’s eye twitched, and suddenly she pointed a finger at Sami. “You!” She shouted, “I can’t believe I’m dying after being completely honest with you! I really wanted to be helpful, damn it, and instead you vouch for my death?!” There were tears in her eyes after she continued to rant, “Why would you do something like that? I’m one of the survivors, damn it! I was supposed to make it—“ She stopped abruptly and suddenly made a dash from the podium. Helle was caught by surprise. “Quick! Somebody seize her!” Kyle, Regina, and Kelsey were the first ones to act, albeit to no avail—Lorena had escaped from the third-story hall and was heading for a window. Desperate, frightened shouts and pleas began to fill the place as the disillusioned Lorena threw herself out of one of the stained glass windows, shattering the glass and scattering a myriad of shards across the marble floor. She threw her silver sash away into the air before she took her daring leap, and it fluttered about before eventually slipping off of the windowsill and joining its owner. Lux Aeterna has killed himself; he was Lorena, SILVER Forager! Revealed Roles: Forager: You can send any trusted person at night a letter explaining your suspicions; you can only send one every other night, and your identity will never be revealed to them. BEGIN NIGHT THREE send in all night actions~
General Spoon
That role was even less useful than I initially thought. It seems its only every other night it could do that. Though I still can't understand why its called Forager.
Scarlet
Meh. Still, better than to sit around and do nothing. We have to start somewhere, don't we?
_____
No, mislynches aren't more useful than sitting around, especially when the person is almost certainly town.
Scarlet
So who could've known beforehand that he was "almost certainly town"? It could just as well have been a mafia role to threaten people anonymously into doing what he wants. Of course, mislynching is bad, you're right, but this probably wouldn't even have happened if he had participated in the game earlier. Receiving such a role when you're a lurker just doesn't sound very convincing.
_____
Think about this for a second. If you were mafia, and you were fakeclaiming, would you fakeclaim the Forager? How would you even know that role existed in the first place? Mafia role cop? Someone would obviously counterclaim. Claiming a role like Forager makes absolutely no sense for a mafia member.
Scarlet
What exactly prevents someone from claiming a role that doesn't exist? We don't know for certain what roles there are in this round of mafia. Unless I'm mistaken, the existance of a role only gets confirmed if the owner of that role gets killed or a rolefinder investigates them. Also, if we assume that there are around 6 or 7 mafia people, with 25 players in total, it's almost certain that some of the roleclaims we received must be fake. It's not like we didn't have much more suspicious leads already, either. Spoon said he's yet to hear from a few people, but instead of going that route, you ended up lynching someone who was doing exactly as they were told, with the only justification behind it being "Oh, yeah, well, his role sucks." Also, if we assume that there are around 6 or 7 mafia people, with 25 players in total, it's almost certain that some of the roleclaims we received must be fake. That depends entirely on how many people have actually claimed to Spoon. I don't doubt that there are some fakeclaims, but still.
Deliriyum
Wait, so Bizz has asked us not to roleclaim to people via PM? Which means Raymond can't collect claims like he asked for?
Scarlet
... do you really think someone would make up "forager the anonymous messanger" ._. Hey, there was a possibility at least. It's not like we didn't have much more suspicious leads already, either. Spoon said he's yet to hear from a few people, but instead of going that route, you ended up lynching someone who was doing exactly as they were told, with the only justification behind it being "Oh, yeah, well, his role sucks." Yeah, fine, so I'll stop trying to justify it. We made a mistake. Lux could've confirmed his claim by sending me a message tonight, yet I for some reason didn't take my vote off him. I'm sorry. That depends entirely on how many people have actually claimed to Spoon. I don't doubt that there are some fakeclaims, but still. If we leave aside the dead people and the ones with confirmed roles (me and Tables) aside, that'd be 15. Of course, going after the ones that haven't claimed first is probably better. @Core: That's right. I only received two claims before Bizz banned it. General Spoon
Well, I didn't want to lynch from the ones we don't have claims from, as at least of them is Gold. I am going to protect either Raymond or Tables tonight, because they are both clear. Edited May 22, 2010 by General Spoon
peener weener
Abbie sighed. Not of relief, this time. She had abstained from voting because she knew Lorena was probably innocent, even if Abbie hadn't actually met her before. -"What a horrible way to die.", she thought. "Betrayed by those who you deem friends. She... just couldn't take it."
Parrhesia
Kyle cringed. A Silver, dead, and she wasn't gonna come back anytime soon. For one, cleaning the shards of glass out of the ... crevices would be borderline necrophilia. Anyway...it was night again, and the killers would be prowling the area. Quickly, he locked himself into his room. He would be ready. EDIT: Was Lorena in CM1 as well? Edited May 23, 2010 by Trompe le Monde

Percivalé
All actions are IN ~~ Lindsay sighed wearily in the night as she lifted herself out of bed. She ran a hand through her blonde hair in an attempt to bring at least a bit more awareness to her drowsy senses. It was still so early; she wanted naught but a glass of water and then she could trail on back into the world of slumber. She paid no attention to her surroundings, her eyes half-closed in her grogginess. She trailed on through the hallway, completely oblivious to the noises of some sort of struggle taking place in a room nearby. Something dashed past her, clearly after another target. It startled her momentarily, though she continued into the nearest restroom. She took up her glass and after obtaining the so-prized water she trekked for she turned around. Her eyes widened suddenly as a stray knife whizzed through the air and caught her in the throat; she lurched forward in pain, and descended to the floor, blood now beginning to pool around her. Her murderer took a step near the scene and grimaced. “Wrong target,” It said regretfully, “Sorry about that… Lindsay.” Rhythm has been killed; she was Lindsay, SILVER Soprano! New Roles Revealed: Soprano: This player may screech their high note at someone every night. That person’s vote will then be inaccurate during the day. No one will know about the inaccurate vote (unless it somehow affects a lynch, of course). -- BEGIN DAY FOUR

General Spoon
Hang Queen_Pavrati for being inactive all game. The mafias aren't going to eliminate her, and if she's got a useful role, she's not using it.
